Watch this quick start guide to using Prodly & and learn how to effortlessly migrate data between Salesforce orgs using our user-friendly point-and-click UI.
In this video
This tutorial explains how to use Prodly DevOps to deploy data and metadata between Salesforce instances. After installing Prodly from the AppExchange and completing setup, users access the Prodly AppOps app to manage environments, including adding Salesforce orgs and creating Scratch Orgs with preloaded components.
Data deployments require defining datasets (single record frameworks) or deployment plans (multiple datasets) via the Settings area, using templates or custom configurations. Deployments are run from the Sandbox Seeding section by selecting source and destination orgs, datasets or plans, and optional filters; triggers and validations can be temporarily disabled during deployment.
Data sets define objects and relationships with customizable record selection and field settings, while deployment plans organize multiple datasets in steps.
Prodly supports metadata deployments for 96% of Salesforce components via the Guided Deployment section, allowing selection and filtering of metadata differences between orgs, with the option to deploy data and metadata together.
Deployments run on Prodly servers and progress can be monitored within the app. Prodly does not store record data except IDs and org info. For more details, visit prodly.co.
